I don't think these side step/slider will do much about the side impact sensor, the sensors are normally higher than the door sill anyway

I got mine from 'ocam' they are a terrible fit. They are also very weak, I crushed one of the tubes on a tree root sticking out of the mud on the first outing. Yes a root not a rock!

hey guys, this is something like the steps i'm looking for, quite low to the ground and wide enough for the wife to be able to turn round on the step for ease of entry to the passenger seat, but its an italian website. Any idea what these steps are and if there is any way to source them or similar in Aus? thanks http://www.4x4tuning.lt/en/gallery/v...side-steps.26/

I have been happy with my scf sliders. I have touched down on then several times. They seem pretty strong. Lifted half the car up on the exhaust jack on the sliders other day.

Whipped on rhino sliders to go with my rhino bar. Seem a bit more hardy than the stainless originals which to me also seemed to sit a little too low. Just have to figure out how to install the curtesy lights on the rock sliders that came off the stainless jobbies. You do one thing and a new challenge is created.
