Sounds like it may not be, but a Redarc thing instead.
Still very happy with the operation overall though.
Dealer fitted a plain Towpro to the Rok, claiming the elite version didn't play nice with canbus...my mistake for believing them!
Elite doesn't play nice with the rok.
But Peter jones puts the correct requirements into his loom that stops that

    2017 accessory switches

    Hi all,

Have been speaking to AOB regarding utilising the blank switches above the climate control for aftermarket accessory switches on the updated my17 dash facia.

Because I don't yet have my 2017 I can't answer John's question so wondering if anyone else has been able to get behind these switches to see what is there?

    Quote:
Tom we are not sure if they can be done or not as of yet
we need to get a vehicle in and then remove 1 of the blanks and see what is actually behind it as we are thinking there could be a circuit board directly behind it and if this is the case we won't be able to get anything made
Do you happen to have the new Amarok if yes can you remove the blank and take some pics for us
    Thanks John

    Endqte

Here is a picture of the spare switches I am talking about (right of hazard lights).

    Thanks,

Hahahaha GIC is a bad word on a few forums isn't it lol. My towpro is pretty good with our Kimberley.

Finally took the camper trailer for a drag on the weekend, and when ever the trailer is plugged in blue tooth to the phone is disabled!
Anyone else seen this, before I get a full head of steam and go after the dealer that fitted the tow pro (classic)?

This is a plug and play spotlight loom

G'day Peter, i pm you before but i know that you are busy. You may have already answered this beforehand but there are so many posts i probably missed it. In relation to the purple interface plug that you refer to, is it the one and only one strapped under the stearing column as that plug i have used to connect westfalia tow bar wiring kit. I would like to buy sveral looms off you but need to make sure this is the right plug and if so how do I tap into it since it is used already. Also my rok is a 2016 highline with bi xenons. Look forward to your reply. Cheers.

Hey Peter - are you still making these up?

I'm interested in putting flashing orange lights on the roof of my 2017 base model Amarok - do you have a harness to suit and what is the best way to get the power up there?

    Cheers!

Yep, best to contact me through my website
http://www.pragmaticracing.com so I can keep track of messages.

I'd make that up to suit. I prefer not to drill holes in the roof. There's a few ways to conceal the wiring in the gap between the glass and body either front or rear.

Hi Peter, would you happen to have a wiring diagram of the wiring you did for the tray lights. i have been racking my brain with a light error that keeps happening when my break and left hand indicator are on at the same time.
    Cheers,
    Rusty

There is nothing behind those blank switches. I pulled one out to fit a water sensor light.
