Hey guys, don't mean to sound stupid but where is the location of the damn oil filter?!

I was about to change the oil but so frustrated that I cant do it now!

Any help would be great, thanks guys

Iv never had such a hard time finding an oil filter, y does vw want to hide it haha

On passenger side engine bay. Middle. Low down . 32mm socket

Ur looking into the engine bay from the to yer? I saw that but wasnt sure so I didn't open, gotta go buy a 32mm socket now lol

Can someone confirm if this is the container that the oil filter sits in? Passenger side, under the inlet manifold.....

Thats it mate, 32 mm socket, and just pull it up and out, makes a mess sometimes, i normally crack the filter housing before draining the oil, then drain oil, replacing filter last, allows oil in filter housing to drain down, creating less of a mess when you try and pull it out and it hits on the intake......
